All Sugar Lily wedding cakes and their fillings are home baked from scratch using quality fresh ingredients, ensuring delicious cakes that taste as good as they look. All our cakes are made from best butter and free range eggs.
In order to cater for everybody’s tastes, we offer a number of flavours. We can modify certain flavours to suit - such as more cherries in your fruitcake, and can bake any size, shape, and depth of cake depending on your chosen design.
Our most popular cake flavours are traditional fruit cake, vanilla sponge, lemon sponge, chocolate sponge, Bailey's sponge and carrot cake However, if you have any other flavours in mind, please let us know. Banana, chocolate orange and white chocolate are some of the recent flavours requested by our clients which we were more than happy to bake.
Consultations for wedding cakes are available by appointment with Sarah to discuss your requirements in detail. If you would like to sample some cake flavours, please let us know at the time of booking.
Consultations are offered with no obligation at our address in Walkden. Following our meeting an order and quote will be posted out to you. Should you decide to go ahead, a deposit of £100 is required to hold the date with the full balance being due 6 weeks before your wedding cake is required.
Some dates for wedding cakes fill quickly, especially during summer months. A deposit payment of £100 will hold the date for you and a consultation can be arranged at a later date.
Ordering of celebration cakes can usually be completed via telephone / email.

A delivery and set up service is available on a first come first served basis for wedding cakes. Within 10 miles of our Walkden based studio, delivery and set up is free of charge. For deliveries in excess of 10 miles there is an additional charge of £2.00 per mile.
Taking advantage of our delivery and set up service ensures your cake arrives safely and is displayed perfectly.
We have a number of stands and bases available to our clients to display their wedding cake. Whilst there is no charge to hire the stands, a returnable deposit is required.
